New to TMC Motorsports Park is a 3/16 mile flat track (originally 1/8 mile),
including bleachers and lights. Our track is a deep cushion, which is watered,
groomed and rolled frequently.
Flat track race practices start at 7:00 PM, with the races following.
First Race
May 21 is our first race this season. In addition to the flat track bikes, we
will have classes for motocross bikes and quads, 50 cc on up. Note: we will be
hosting motocross races during the day, Saturday and Sunday of this weekend as
well.
Second Race
July 30th we will be hosting our third annual short track charity race (rain
date July 24th). A portion of the proceeds from this race will be donated to the
Luce County Community Resource and Recreation center, a local haven for
teenagers. Classes and entry fee details will be the same as the May race.
Third Race
August 20 will be our final flat track race for the season. This race will
be on a motocross weekend, just like the May 21 race described above.
Quads must have nerf bars and a functional tether switch. Functional front
brakes are not allowed on bikes that are competing in flat track classes.
Practice Info for Flat Track
The flat track has scheduled practices with organizers of the club present,
typically every Thursday evening. Call Frank to confirm practice day and time,
since it can be cancelled or changed due to weather or reasons beyond our
control. Open practice on the flat track is prohibited.
